It appears Batawa is the place to be this weekend.
Not only is the Quinte West community hosting Senators owner Eugene Melnyk for a Friday night gala, and the 30 team pond hockey tournament, they are also looking at a world record.
In combination with 100 ski hills and resorts nation wide, the numerous groups will look to set the record for making the most snow angels at once.
The record is more than 15,000.
The effort is all part of what’s called Canadian Ski Patrol Day.
The attempt gets underway at 1:00 p.m.
