Motor Vehicle Collisions
Belleville, Ontario – On February 1st, 2017 officers investigated 7 collisions throughout the City. Two accidents resulted in minor injuries to occupants:
On February 1st, at 7:31 a.m. police attended at a two-car accident at Dundas Street East at Bleecker Avenue. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and one of the drivers was escorted to BGH by EMS for treatment of minor injuries. A 57-year-old Belleville man was charged with failing to yield to traffic.
On February 1st, at 5:02 p.m. police attended on Victoria Avenue at Bleecker Avenue in relation to a two-car accident. Both cars were demolished and were towed from the scene. A stop sign and a concrete utility pole were also damaged. EMS attended at the scene and treated both drivers. A 33-year-old Oshawa man was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign.
