The final numbers are in for the Sleep Out So Others Can Sleep In event held Friday night in Belleville’s Market Square.
The local branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association reports $13,004.00 was raised in support of transitional housing.
Now in its 10th year, participants braved the cold in makeshift shelters to raise poverty awareness and funds.
The CMHA’s goal was $10,000.
