Loyalist College has announced their Athletes of the Week. Tigh Chapman put up big numbers for the Lancers Men’s Basketball team in Ottawa with a double-double in back to back games. He scored 17 points and 11 rebounds against the Algonquin Thunder on Saturday. He followed that up with 15 points and 11 rebounds against the La Cite Coyotes Sunday.
Loyalist’s Female Athlete of the Week is Emilie Leneveau of the Women’s Volleyball team. Emilie earned 16 points in a 3-0 victory over La Cite on Saturday. She also had 9 kills, 4 aces and 3 putting up blocks.
