A Napanee man has been arrested after allegedly going through some backyards in the town over the weekend.
Early Sunday morning, police got a call about a suspicious man going through backyards in the area of Camden Road and Elizabeth Street.
Napanee OPP officers found the suspect riding a bike on Dundas Street and placed him under arrest, after finding a number of suspicious items.
Among them, brass knuckles, rubber gloves, bolt cutters, bear spray, car keys, syringes and an iPhone 4s.
45 year-old Robert Pakul is charged with possession of break-in instruments, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a prohibited device for a dangerous purpose, possession of a weapon for a dangerous person, possession of a weapon while prohibited and breaching probation.
He was held for a Monday bail hearing in Napanee.
