The Mayor of Belleville hopes to meet face to face with Ontario’s Minister of Education at the Rural Ontario Municipal Association, or ROMA, Conference over the next couple of days.
Mayor Taso Christopher says closing schools is never an easy decision, but the proposed moves could save taxpayers a lot of money, and he wants to know more about the provincial governments goals.
