Two men charged in a Trenton house explosion about a year ago will learn their sentences on Monday morning.
Sentencing submissions were made Friday for Joshua Hilts of Trenton and Lucas Veltman of Ameliasburgh, in front of Justice Elaine Deluzio at the Quinte Courthouse.
For Hilts, the Crown has asked for six months in jail, plus probation, while the defense wants a nine-month conditional sentence, which would be served in the community, as well as probation.
Meanwhile for Veltman, the crown has suggested four months in jail and probation and the defense countered with a six month conditional sentence and probation.
The pair was charged after an explosion at a home on Annwood Court in Trenton, which sent two people to hospital.
Justice Deluzio will give her sentence on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m.
