The local chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society and the Trenton Golden Hawks will partner again this year for a great cause.
Friday morning, the two groups gathered to launch this year’s Pink in the Rink campaign.
On February 17th, the G-Hawks will don pink jerseys, all in an effort to support cancer research, and those living with the disease.
Luisa Sorrentino is with the local branch of the Canadian Cancer Society and says the relationship with the team is amazing.
Evelyn Jordan will be the guest for the Pink in the Rink game, she’s a two time cancer survivor and hockey mom.
The jerseys will be auctioned off, with the funds going to support cancer survivors locally.
