An Etobicoke man has been sentenced, while a Belleville man has had criminal charges against him withdrawn after a drug raid in Belleville’s east end last November.
24 year old Sammy Mohamed of Etobicoke was sentenced to 12 months jail plus 12 months probation, and a lifetime weapons ban on a possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. He had already served 30 days in jail on another charge.
Meanwhile, drug trafficking and breach of probation charges against 33 year old John Hinks of Belleville were withdrawn.
Nine other people face charges in the same investigation, and all are back in court March 6.
