A mother and 3 children are lucky to have escaped serious injury after their vehicle hit a telephone pole on River Valley Road, near Frankford Road, in Quinte West last night.
The accident happened at around 8:30.
Quinte West firefighters, OPP, and ambulance personnel responded.
The mother suffered facial injuries, but her 3 young children were not hurt.
An investigation continues.
