Belleville police officers continue to deal with thefts, both from homes and from vehicles.
Yesterday morning (Thursday), police began an investigation into a break in at a Moira Street West residence.
Suspects had stolen stereo equipment and other items.
Meanwhile, around 1:30 this morning (Friday), officers chased down two men, one 19 and the other 17, after people were seen near vehicles in the Bridge/MacDonald streets area.
Officers found the pair to be in possession of items stolen from vehicles in the area. Both males appear in court in March.
Also yesterday (Thursday), vehicles were broken into in the area of William, Charles, and Ann streets.
Victims of the crimes are asked to contact city police or Crime Stoppers.
