The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently seeking the public’s assistance in locating a male that took a truck from the convenience store parking lot at 423 Sidney Street.
On Saturday January 14th, 2017, at 2:51 p.m. police received a call to attend at 423 Sidney Street for the report of the stolen vehicle. Information was given to police that a male 30-35 years old, winter jacket, clean shaven, toque and jeans took the unlocked orange Dodge Journey from the lot and drove it around the corner to Sidney Autowreckers.
It is possible that the male left the vehicle when it was discovered there was a young person in the back seat.
