In Provincial Junior C hockey action last night, the Campbellford Rebels were beaten soundly by the Gananoque Islanders 11-1.
Mike Chambers scored Campbellford’s only goal, with Austin Vallier drawing the lone assist.
Adam McCormack got the bulk of the load in the Rebels crease, stopping 44 of 53 shots.
Final shots favoured the Islanders 58-30.
On the docket today, it’ll be the Napanee Raiders visiting the Amherstview Jets starting at 7:30.
