A well know resident and former local politician would like to see a new park developed along the
401 in Brighton.
Scott Anderson is looking for support from Brighton council and Branch 100 of the Royal Canadian Legion for the creation of what would be called the Highway of Heroes Memorial Park.
It would be on natural land on both sides of the 401 with much of the land already protected and known as
the Brighton Wildlife Area.
His request is coming to tomorrow’s meeting of Brighton council, being held at 6:30 in council chambers.
