Emergency responders saved the life of a man in Kingston yesterday afternoon.
A man fell through the ice of Collins Bay Creek in the area of Woodbine Road and Collins Bay Road around 4:30.
According to Kingston Region News, residents heard yelling from the woods, and firefighters had to carry equipment hundreds of metres into the bush.
The man was found mostly submerged in freezing water. He was conscious and hauled out on a sleigh. He was treated for hypothermia.
