There will be no small arms firing range on land along Cameron Road in the Municipality of Brighton.
William Benn had proposed putting up a firing range but has withdrawn his applications for property rezoning.
In a letter to Brighton council, he criticized council for lack of communication and lack of support for his plans.
Benn also said while many residents supported a gun range, some of those who didn’t resorted to vandalism and harassment, acts he said were never addressed by council.
Benn concluded his letter saying he believed Brighton was not a good place to do business.
