The Prince Edward Memorial Hospital Foundation has received a generous donation for the purchase of medical equipment.
On Monday, insurance brokers and staff at Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Company in Picton donated $5,000 for new equipment.
“We thank Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Company for their generous gift that will play a big role in providing better health care services to residents and visitors of Prince Edward County,” said Executive Director Penny Rolinski. “We improve care for our patients by purchasing new and replacement equipment, there is never a shortage of possibilities for donations like this one,” she said. “Ultimately, this money will help the Foundation reach our fundraising targets sooner, which in turn keeps up-to-date equipment, like scopes, in our County hospital and for that we’re extremely grateful.”
