The Wellington Dukes took on Markham in a double overtime nail biter, but couldn’t overtake the Royals as Wellington fell 4-3.
Brayden Stortz, Colin Doyle and Justin Bean scored for the dukes.
The Dukes also took three 10 minute misconducts throughout the game.
Final shots were Wellington 36, Markham 40.
The Trenton Golden Hawks downed Kingston 3 to 1 last night at the Duncan Memorial.
Michael Silveri, Lucas Brown and Ben Scheel scored for the Golden Hawks, with Silveri and Brown both hitting the 20 goal plateau.
Final shots were Trenton 32, Kingston 21.
