Charges have been laid in a sexual assault in Bancroft, dating back to 2002.
On November 23rd, Bancroft OPP launched an investigation, and charged J. Steven O’Conner with numerous sexual assault charges.
Sexual assault with threat of harm to third person,

Overcome resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle another person,

He had a bail hearing on New Year’s Eve.
