Building a new Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital is Quinte Health Care’s top redevelopment priority.
That commitment was reinforced by Brad Harrington, QHCs Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President, during a presentation to community members.
Harrington explained that once the Ministry approves the Corporate Master Program, which was submitted in October, and pre-capital submission, work on the Prince Edward Hospital Stage One report will take about six months to complete.
There will be an evaluation of the current site, investigation of other site options, a high-level space plan and a cost estimate.
Harrington anticipates the approval of the pre-capital submission by early 2017.
Brad Harrington’s full presentation, along with a comprehensive summary of the Master Program and Q&A document is available on the QHC website at www.qhc.on.ca on the PECMH Redevelopment page.
