As we move into 2017, the Mayor of Brighton is hoping the town will continue to grow and that he’ll also get some answers to ongoing problems at the water pollution control plant.
Mark Walas tells Quinte News the ammonia issues within the WPCP have been going on for too long and figuring out what’s wrong is a major goal for the coming year and looking forward to finding a solution.
Walas also says he’s looking forward to settling into his new role as Warden of Northumberland County, where he’ll continue to advance the county’s ten-year strategic plan and take part in the Eastern Ontario Warden’s Caucus.
