There is a lot of work to do in 2017 says Prince Edward County mayor Robert Quaiff.
The County signed on for $11.6 million in capital projects for 2017 and the mayor said they are looking forward to completing a large list of infrastructure projects.
Also in 2017, the mayor said they will continue to keep a close eye on the proposal process for a new hospital along with the Hastings and Prince Edward School Board to see what happens with the proposed closure of six county schools.
He also pointed to continued work with the Water and Wastewater Adhoc committee to address rates. A report is due back in April.
