Belleville police are asking residents to be watchful of the goings on in their neighborhoods as officers investigate attempted break ins in the east end of the city yesterday (Saturday).
City police report someone tried to get into basement windows at two residences, one on Queen Street, and the other on Williams Street, around 9 in the morning yesterday.
The suspect was unsuccessful and nothing was stolen.
Police remind homeowners to make sure their doors and windows are secure.
