CFB Trenton had a very busy 2016.
Base Commander Colonel Colin Keiver says it included the opening of Hangar 6 along Highway 2, the announcement for new fixed wing Search and Rescue aircraft, along with the return of the airshow.
He says to him that may be the highlight.
As far as the new hangar, Keiver says the Minister of Defence will be coming to Trenton for a ribbon cutting expected early in the new year.
