The Canadian Junior Hockey League, made up of leagues across the country, including the OJHL, is getting set to host the CJHL Prospects game.
It is taking place in Cornwall this year on Wednesday January 25th and a Belleville native will take part.
Aidan Girduckis, a member of the Carleton Place Canadians will lace them up for Team East in the game, which is a chance for NHL and NCAA scouts to see some of the best talent in the country.
Girduckis, a former Wellington Duke, picked up a silver medal at this year’s World Junior A Challenge, where he played for Canada East.
He is committed to playing for Robert Morris University in 2018-19.
Girduckis is projected to be a 4th or 5th round pick this year, according to NHL Central Scouting.
