The suspect charged in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store in Belleville is facing more charges.
On December 27, a man wearing a disguise and carrying a knife entered a store and demanded money from the clerk. He left on foot and empty handed.
City police were called to the scene and charged 19-year-old Tyler Drake with robbery with intent.
Drake is now facing additional charges of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, obstructing police, assaulting police to resist arrest and five counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.
He has a bail hearing set for December 30.
