The County was the place to be in 2016.
Well-known for its beaches, arts, culture, breweries, wineries and vast agriculture landscape, Prince Edward County Chamber of Tourism and Commerce Executive Director Emily Cowan beamed almost 1,000,000 visitors flocked to the tourist destination this past year.
Cowan said the Chamber with 225 members has had another strong year.
She added their iconic red map keeps getting bigger and better.
She also touched on how their contract with the County ended in 2016 for visitor services. She said while they aren’t providing that service anymore they will continue to refer visitors to members.
