Local municipal leaders are inviting the public to join in New Year’s Levee celebrations on January 1.
In Belleville, Mayor Taso Christopher and council are inviting the public to the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre on January 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
During the event, residents will be able to enjoy the sounds of the Air Force City Pipes and Drums, followed by Mayor Christopher’s official address at 12:15 p.m.
In Quinte West, everyone is welcome to join in the celebration at City Hall on January 1 at 2 p.m.
Mayor Mark Walas and council will greet Brighton residents starting at 2 o’clock at the King Edward Park Community Centre.
Prince Edward County will be holding its annual levee on January 8 at the Macaulay Church in Picton from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
