Due to icy conditions, recycling trucks are being pulled off the road for the remainder of the day.
Daniel Orr, Communications Coordinator for Quinte Waste Solutions said recycling collection will resume in these affected areas this Saturday, December 31 to pick up remaining recycling.
Municipalities collected on Mondays include part of Prince Edward County, Stirling-Rawdon, Madoc Township, Marmora and Lake, and Tyendinaga Township. Many of these areas receive bi-weekly collection. Please note, the Saturday collection is for today’s schedule only.
Residents are strongly encouraged to have their recycling to the curb by 7 a.m. on their collection day to avoid being missed.
