Close to 200 people enjoyed good fun and food yesterday at the annual Community Christmas Dinner at the Belleville Salvation Army Church.
More than 70 volunteers were involved in the organization, cooking, and serving of the meal, which is coordinated by the Christmas Sharing program.
28 guests were provided transportation to and from the dinner, which featured turkey and all the trimmings.
13 local businesses provided food and other items to the event free of charge.
