One person was killed and two others taken to hospital after a single vehicle accident north of Port Hope Christmas Eve.
A Ford pick-up truck went off Grist Mill Road and hit a tree at around 10 at night.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. OPP and the Port Hope Fire Department responded.
According to Northumberland News, alcohol was found in the truck, however, police have not said whether or not alcohol was a factor in the crash.
