Another successful Kettle Campaign for the Belleville Salvation Army is in the books.
Not including donations made yesterday (Friday) or today (Saturday), either in person or online, the Campaign exceeded its $160,000 goal, achieving a total of $160,476.65.
The funds raised through the kettle campaign are used by the Belleville Salvation Army Community and Family Services office to provide nutritional support through the Lunch Room and Warm Room meal programs as well as to supply food through its Emergency Food Bank to those in need in our community. Close to 40,000 people have been served by these programs in 2016.
The Salvation Army thanks their many dedicated volunteers, their sponsors and the community for their generous support.
