As we look back at 2016, there were some major challenges and major victories for MPP Lou Rinaldi.
The member for Northumberland Quinte West says the biggest obstacle has been hydro.
He says improving the old system has driven the price up, however he says it’s now a more stable system.
He says as far as victories over the past 12 months, he looks to Trenton Memorial Hospital keeping day surgeries and the creation of a health hub.
Rinaldi says looking to the new year, they want to continue moving forward with improving local health care, especially with the cuts that have taken place.
