The Belleville Police Service responded to 68 calls for service between December 22rd, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. and December 23thnd, 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
RIDE Program
The RIDE Team checked 230 cars at various checkpoints around the city overnight. One person was given a three day licence suspension , a 27 year old male was cautioned for possessing a small quantity of marijuana, and another male was issued a summons to attend court for driving while suspended contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. General patrol also issued two people three day suspension notices for blowing a warn at a road side test.
