Belleville’s Aidan Girduckis and Wellington Dukes forward Nic Mucci, along with Team Canada East clashed with the United States in the World Junior A Challenge championship Saturday night in Bonneyville Alberta.

Team USA was dominant in the game, outshooting the Canucks 44-14, winning the gold 4-0.

With Team Canada finishing 2nd, it is their best result since 2011. They went 3-2 in the tourney, with both losses coming against the Americans.
