The newly launched Bay of Quinte chapter of Start-Up Canada is opening its doors next week.
Start-Up Bay of Quinte will hold an open house on Wednesday December 21st, to showcase what it can do for business people locally.
Start-Up Canada’s CEO Victoria Lennox tells Quinte News, the organization connects entrepreneurs with mentors, resources like funding and chances to connect with customers both at home and abroad.
Lennox added that the Quinte Region is the perfect place to launch one of its local chapters because of its connection to Southern Ontario and its broad range of entrepreneurial ideas.
And she says, a number of local entrepreneurs are already taking advantage of some of Start-Up’s programs.
Lennox will be giving a keynote address at the open house, which runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. next Wednesday (Dec 21) at Centennial Secondary School..
She says any entrepreneur with any idea can stop by Start-Up for help getting their business up and running.
