Belleville’s Aidan Girduckis and Wellington Dukes forward Nic Mucci are moving on to the final of the World Junior A Challenge.
Team Canada East scored a 2-1 overtime victory over the Czech Republic Thursday, punching their ticket to the title game Saturday.
They have defeated the Czechs twice to get to the title game, however their only loss is to the Americans 3-1 on Tuesday.
Puck drop on Saturday for the gold medal match is 7:00 p.m. EST.
