A tragedy has taken place at a local plant.
Thursday night at 5:00 p.m., one person was killed on one of the production lines at Saputo in Trenton.
A release from the company is extending their condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of the employee.
Officials with the dairy company say they have contacted emergency officials and are fully co-operating with authorities.
Counselors have also been called in and will be available for employees.
Details on how the death happened, and the name of the employee killed are not known at this time.
