The Ontario Junior Hockey League has called off tonight’s match-up between the Trenton Golden Hawks and Newmarket Hurricanes due to poor weather conditions.
A mix of wintry weather is sweeping its way across Southern Ontario and has made driving conditions unsafe, so the Hawks won’t be making the trip up to Newmarket tonight.
The game will be rescheduled, but a make-up date has yet to be set.
The weather has forced some postponements in other leagues as well, including a scheduled Ontario Hockey League game in Barrie between the Colts and the Owen Sound Attack.
