The province is investing funding in a program to support youth on the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
Tuesday morning David Zimmer, the Minister of Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation announced $119,235 to support the Aboriginal Labour Force Development Circle.
The funding is aimed at youth facing challenges within the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte.
It will support those with addiction issues, barriers with schooling or finding work, or those with learning disabilities in Tyendinaga Territory.
So far the province has supported 56 projects through the fund, and is in a ten year window where it will provide $95 million for the Aboriginal Economic Development Fund.
