The victim of Thursday night’s hit-and-run in Kingston has died in hospital.
According to The Whig, around 7:30 p.m, emergency services were called to Princess Street at Midland Avenue, near the Cataraqui Town Centre, where a 41 year old local woman was hit.
The vehicle which struck her was an eastbound SUV. The driver did not stop and left the scene. She succumbed to her injuries, 14 hours after the collision.
The vehicle is described as a 1990s or early 2000 Chev Tahoe, GMC Yukon or Cadillac Escalade. It is believed the SUV has extensive damage to the front grill and headlight assembly.
