The Trenton Golden Hawks have recently retained their #3 ranking on the CJHL’s Top 20 list.
On Wednesday night the beasts took on the least, as Trenton, the top team in the Northeast Conference, hosted Milton, a team out of the Southwest, with only 7 points on the season.
Trenton wasted little time hitting the score sheet and keeping the pressure on throughout the game, finishing with a 7-1 final. Jeremy Pullara had a five point night, while Michael Silveri and Jordan Chard each had four points. Connor Quinn had two goals, while Chris Janzen was solid in goal, making 26 saves. Earlier in the day fellow goaltender Joseph Murdaca was traded to the Erie Otters
Trenton is next in action Friday night as they welcome the Cobourg Cougars at the Duncan MacDonald Arena at 7:30 p.m.
