Police are searching for a thief who made off with a large safe from a residence in Campellford.
Police say the thief broke into the residence, while the owner was at a church function, and made away with the safe, apparently transporting it by using the resident’s red-coloured walker.
The safe is described as a black “sentry” safe, four feet in height containing a quantity of cash and jewellery.
Police are asking anyone with information to call the Campbellford OPP.
