Belleville Police Service responded to 60 calls for service from the 5th of December 2016 at 5:00 a.m. to the 6th of December 2016 at 5:00 a.m.
Stolen Vehicle
Late yesterday afternoon City Police spotted a stolen vehicle on Sidney St. at Bridge St. W. that was reported stolen earlier in the day. Officers were able to get the vehicle stopped safely and took the suspect into custody.
The driver, Yahyie Gabad of Belleville was arrested for possession of stolen property over $5000. Mr. Gabad is scheduled to attend court for a first appearance on January 12th 2017.
