A Canadian fighter pilot, killed in a jet crash last week, will be honoured with a procession along the Highway of Heroes on Wednesday.
Captain Thomas McQueen was killed when his CF-18 crashed during a training mission over Saskatchewan, on November 28th.
Following a memorial service at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, in his hometown of Hamilton, MacQueen’s body will be driven across the Highway of Heroes to the National Military Cemetery in Ottawa.
The procession is expected to be coming through the Quinte Region around 5:30 p.m., with a fuel stop in Belleville.
