Officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are currently investigating an assault that took place near Fairview Crescent in Trenton.
At approximately 3:00 p.m. on November 30th, 2016, officers responded to a call from a teen female who reported that she had been assault by another female.
The teen informed police that she was walking in the area of Fairview Cres. when she was approached by a female described as being 30-40 years old, bleached blonde hair, with a blue and white striped jacket and dark blue jeans.
The teen was struck in the face multiple times.
The teen sustained minor injuries during the incident.
