The on again off again then on again National Capital Junior Football championship is off again.
The Quinte Junior Saints were set to play the Kingston Frontenac Falcons last Saturday in Beckwith near Carleton Place but the game had to be cancelled due to unsafe field conditions. However none of the partipants were told and they made the trip for nothing.
On Monday it was announced the game would be played tomorrow at Richardson Stadium in Kingston. The Saints were ready to go but later in the day Frontenac sent an e-mail to Quinte coach Gary Parcels stating a number of factors prevent them from making the game work this week.
The bottom line is, the National Capital Junior Football championship is off once and for all.
