Organizers of the local Christmas Sharing Program say even though November has passed, it’s not too late for families in need to sign up.
The program collects donations of toys, food and other holiday goodies, to be put in a box and sent off to less fortunate famlies around the region.
Coordinator Pam Smith tells Quinte News there are a number of reasons that families sign up late.
Smith added that she can’t talk enough about the impact the program has made over the years.
She says some families who have benefited from the program in the past are even doing their part to help now.
