There is a change atop the Board of Directors of Quinte Health Care.
During the November meeting on Tuesday, Board Chair Tricia Anderson handed over the reigns to Doug McGregor, who was serving as Vice-Chair.
Anderson notified the board earlier this year she was leaving the post for personal reasons. She had been on the board of directors for seven years.
QHC CEO Mary Clare Egberts says while Anderson was in the top seat, it was not easy times.
McGregor says they currently have a small window of financial relief and it is a time to be forward looking.
McGregor officially takes over the post Thursday December 1, 2016.
