The game will go on afterall.
The Quinte Saints will play the Kingston Frontenac Falcons Wednesday morning for the “National Captial Junior Football” title.
It was supposed to be played on Saturday. In fact the Saints along with friends, family and fans made the trip to Beckwith near Carlton Place for what should have been the Championship game against Kingston.
Although the weather was good, the teams arrived to find unsafe and unplayable field conditions. Coach Gary Parcels says there was 4 to 6 inches of snow on parts of the field.
Parcels now reports the game will be played on Wednesday morning at 11:30 at Richardson Stadium in Kingston.
